Introducing Camp KIND!
a partnership of Amigo Centre and Anabaptist Disabilities Network
June 30 – July 3, 2025
This camp is designed for children with disabilities and neurodivergence, along with their families. Experience the memories and fun of traditional summer camp with the support your family needs to thrive. Sleep in the Retreat Center, eat food prepared by camp cooks, and find community with families traveling a similar life path.
Campers with disabilities and their siblings who are ages 6-13 join Camp Amigo’s Day Camp program in the morning, with trained staff supporting each disabled camper. Caregivers and older siblings connect and enjoy respite in the mornings, and afternoons & evenings are spent in family activities tailored to the abilities of the participants.
Colton Eby, Amigo Centre’s Youth Program Director, states:
Summer camp should be an accessible and meaningful experience for all children; after providing a day camp program for children with autism for over five years, holding a week of family camp seems like the perfect next step. We’re excited to partner with ADN to offer a space where families can participate in a summer camp tailored to them while forming connections with the Creator and their communities.

Work with Us:
- Apply to be a support staff at Camp KIND this summer. Qualified, responsible adults serve as one-on-one support staff to campers with higher support needs. Accompany campers with disabilities, neurodivergence (autism, adhd, etc), and a history of trauma so they can experience summer camp alongside their peers.
- Support staff stay in their own Retreat Center rooms, eat meals prepared by Amigo’s cooks, and enjoy free time in the afternoons and evenings.
- Apply on Amigo Centre’s website.
