Christmas Gifts
A Note from the Editor: Often, the holidays are hectic; we bustle from family gathering to company event, worrying about relationship dynamics and fancy meals. Ann’s song, “Christmas Gifts,” extends an opportunity to pause and recenter: Let us celebrate Christmas not by rushing from one stressor to the next, but by loving each other, reflecting the love we’ve received from God. God loves us; so let’s celebrate!
Here we go with another Christmas
Another time to celebrate
Rejoice! Let us be joyful!
God loves us; so let's celebrate!
Let's celebrate by being good to each other
Let's rejoice by loving each other
It's Christmastime: a reminder of God's love
A reminder that we're all worth something
Give them the joy they need
Give them the joy you need
Share your food and your drink
Share the love you seek
Even when it's hard,
when you don't want to be thankful
Think--and be thankful!
It is Christmas!
We're all precious in God's sight
It's Christmastime; so let's celebrate!
Let's show love to each other,
Rejoice, and enjoy God's gift.
Share your joy with a person you don't know
Share your joy with a friend
Someone in need might need you
Show them happiness and fun
God gives us a gift when we are awake
God gives us the gift of sleep
Enjoy both and be grateful!
They are both a gift.
Here we go with another Christmas
Another time to celebrate
Rejoice! Let us be joyful!
God loves us, so let's celebrate!
God loves us; let's celebrate.
